Hunter Killer Team

Jerry Chong grew up in San Fransisco, CA. Before joining the Marine Corps he attended college and then enlisted in the Marines. Jerry was known for his intellect and discerning judgment. He was one of the Mike company Hunter Killer Team squad leaders on top of his regular combat duties. The Hunter Killer Team was an all-volunteer, small squad that incorporated insurgent tactics to stalk and attack enemy units at night; often the Hunter Killers were out for two to three days. Jerry would reach the rank of Sergeant prior to returning from Vietnam. Upon returning home to his wife and son after the war, Jerry became a successful trial lawyer, and after reuniting with his fellow platoon mates in the late 80s, he has remained close to those he served with ever since.
